By booking a portrait photography session with Olga V Photography, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
Copyright of images
Under the copyright and patents act of 1988, Olga V Photography retains the copyright of all images taken. It is a criminal offence to copy, screen grab, scan or reproduce photographs without written consent by Olga V Photography and before purchasing the images. Images that are purchased as digital files are not to be altered in any way that change the integrity of the image without prior consent of Olga V Photography.
Images taken in photographic sessions may be used by Olga V Photography for display or marketing purposes. This could include social media, marketing literature, or galleries on the website. This is for the purpose of promoting my photography so clients can see the style of work Olga V Photography creates. If you would prefer your images not to be displayed in this way please let Olga V Photography know in writing when you book your photographic session.
Booking and Payment
A session fee is payable when you book your photographic session and this secures your date and time in the diary. Please ensure the fee is paid at least 10 days prior to your session. This fee is non-refundable but fully transferable to another date if at least 10 days notice is given. This does not include illness as Olga V Photography understands this can happen at anytime.
Your session fee includes a credit toward your final order—please visit my website for details. Payment for digital files, prints, and artwork is required in full at the time of ordering.
Liability
If Olga V Photography becomes injured, too ill to work or an emergency occurs, your appointment may need to be cancelled and re-scheduled to a new date. Olga V Photography will make every effort to re-book your appointment to a convenient time for you. If a new appointment date can’t be agreed the client agrees and accepts the responsibility and liabilities of Olga V Photography is limited to the returning of any fees or deposits paid towards your booking or session fee. Olga V Photography is not responsible for any consequential loss, damages, charges, expenses, accommodation or travel costs.
In the unlikely event of equipment failure, damage or theft that leads to the loss of images captured in your session, liability of Olga V Photography is limited to the refund of any fees paid by you in relation to the session.
Licence and Coverage
Once you have purchased digital files, you may request a commercial license if you intend to use your images for business or promotional purposes. A commercial license grants you permission to use the images for the following:
To obtain a commercial license, please contact Olga V Photography for a quotation. The license fee will depend on the intended usage, distribution, and reach of the images. Unauthorised commercial use of images without a valid license is strictly prohibited.
Olga V Photography shall be granted artistic license in relation to the poses photographed. Although every effort will be made to comply with your requirements, the photographers’ judgement regarding the location, poses and number of photographs taken shall be deemed correct and not subject to dispute.
Whilst Olga V Photography shall endeavour to fulfil your requirements, they cannot be held responsible for non-availability of subjects or adverse conditions which may delay the progress of proceedings, preventing the coverage of certain specified shots.
Image and Reproduction
All print and presentation sizes of artwork products quoted are approximate and subject to change at the discretion of Olga V Photography and may be subject to slight variation. Whilst every effort will be made, Olga V Photography cannot guarantee exact colour matching and is not held responsible for any colour variations which may occur due to light and location variations.
Due to limitations of computer monitors and variations of computer operating systems, it is understood that images may appear differently according to the specification of each monitor/computer and that prints may not match images rendered on any particular computer monitor.
Any requests for specific image corrections or re-editing may incur additional charges. We are also happy to accommodate custom or specialised retouching requests at an extra cost. In some cases, we may refer retouching services to third-party partners. Costs for such services will be provided upon request. Please note that Olga V Photographer does not provide RAW images.
Delivery
When you place your order, Olga V Photography will provide an estimated delivery time for your package and any artwork products (if applicable). If your order includes digital images and you require them sooner, please inform me at the time of viewing. I will do my best to accommodate your request whenever possible.
Please note that any payment delays will directly impact the delivery timeline. Full payment is required before the production process can begin.
If your package includes digital images, they will be delivered via a password-protected online gallery. Prints and artwork products will be shipped to your address, with the risk transferring to you upon delivery. After completing your order, we will archive your photographs for six months.
Conduct
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure the co-operative behaviour of subjects at a shoot. Should Olga V Photography feel unsafe at the photoshoot or be subject to abuse and the client cannot control or prevent the situation then Olga V Photography is entitled to advise the client of that situation and leave without the returning of any fees or deposits paid towards your booking or session fee.

Changes to the Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions as needed. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the updated policy will be effective upon posting.
